Every free minute is a short story with a happy ending.

Sometimes you break your heart in the right way.
You learn something or you feel something completely new, when you break your heart that way.

If you have to ask the question, you have no right to the the answer.

more Calvin & Hobbes

Calvin: "I'm being educated against my will! My rights are being trampled!"
Hobbes: "Is it a right to remain ignorant?"
Calvin: "I don't know, but I refuse to find out!"

Hobbes: "Did you ask your Mom if you could jump off the roof?"
Calvin: "Questions I know the answers to I don't need to ask, right?"

Calvin
I find it easier to live my life with lowered expectations.
Getting an inch of snow is like winning 10 cents in the lottery.

Calvin's excuse for why he didn't read his history text as assigned: "The book publisher didn't use the proper print fixative. Needless to say, when I picked up the book, all the letters slid off the pages and fell on the floor in a heap of gibberish."

Hobbes: "Shouldn't you be doing your homework?"
Calvin: "I'm pretty sure the assignment was optional."
Hobbes: "Denial springs eternal."
Calvin: "It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept."

Mrs. Wormwood: "CALVIN, PAY ATTENTION! We're studying GEOGRAPHY! Now What state do you live in?"
Calvin: "Denial."

Calvin: "They say that all the world's a stage. But obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is adlibbing his lines."
Hobbes: "Maybe that's why it's so hard to tell if we're living in a tragedy or a farce."
Calvin: "We need more special effects and dance numbers."

Lizzie McGuire

A budget? I couldn't possibly be on a budget. I'd run out of money.

It's true. I mean, pictures fade, and they get torn, and stuff spills on them, and your haircut looks really dorky, but memories last forever.

The problem of going on a world tour, is how would you top it next summers.
I felt sorry that I had no shoes, until I met a man with no feet.

Where you go through life
So sure of where you’re headin'
And you wind up lost and it's
The best thing that could have happened
‘Cause sometimes when you loss your way it's just as well
Because you find yourself
Yeah that’s when you find yourself.

Pablo Picasso

I paint what I think, not what I see.

Walt Disney

I believe in being an innovator.
(this one goes out to you CC)

I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse.

It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.

When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Bill Watterson

There is not enough time to do all the nothing we want to do.

Talking with you is sort of the conversational equivalent of an out of body experience.

C&H

If something is so complicated that you can't explain it in 10 seconds, then it's probably not worth knowing anyway.

Who wouldn't be interested in everything we do?!

My life needs a rewind/erase button.

If you do the job badly enough, sometimes you don't get asked to do it again.

One of the Kindly Ones

Can't say I've ever been too fond of beginnings, myself. Messy little things. Give me a good ending any time. You know where you are with an ending.

Anais Nin

The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle.
